Developing into a not-for-profit textile hub dedicated to the research and development of New Zealand wool and natural fibres, uncovering the endless possibilities of sustainability in art, design, education, and industry.

What we do

  • Run hands-on wool and natural fibre workshops

  • Support artists, educators, designers and students

  • Provide access to specialist textile knowledge and machinery

  • Develop wool-based product and material prototypes

  • Advocate for natural fibres as alternatives to synthetic materials
